主讲人：Dr. Lin Gao, Talent Management Manager, Asia Pacific
Dr. Lin Gao, an intrepid explorer in both academia and industry, has persisted on the journey to discover how to improve organizational effectiveness through human capital investment from both the organizational perspective and individual career advancement aspect for 18 years.
Lin is the Talent Management Manager for Asia Pacific at Corning Corporation being responsible for Corning talent management processes focused on talent planning and talent development in Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Corning, Lin held various talent management and learning positions in China and the U.S. Her major roles were: Talent Management manager for AGCO Corporation in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A., Training Manager and Training Consultant at Motorola University in Tianjin, China, Training Manager at Beijing Telecom Group Learning Center, and Assistant Professor at Tianjin University of Science and Technology.
Lin received her B.A. in Applied Chemistry from Liaoning University of Petroleum & Chemical Technology, China, her MBA in Marketing Management from Nankai University, China, and her Ph.D. in Workforce Education and Development from Penn State University, U.S.A.
Lin is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. She served on the board of the Automotive Division of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) as the Voice of the Customer chair. During her education journey, her MBA thesis won the National Golden Award in the 1st China MBA Thesis Contest in the New Century in 2001 and her Ph.D. dissertation was titled Examining the Impact of Human Resource Development Practice on Performance Improvement through Continuous Improvement at an Automotive Supplier in North America.
