主讲嘉宾简介:

Dr. Li Xiaobei is Assistant Professor, School of Business, East China University of Science and Technology. She earned her Ph.D. in management from the University of New South Wales, Australia. Before joining in ECUST, she worked in Cisco-Guanghua Leadership Institute, Peking University for two years. Her current research interests include human resource management process, paradoxical leadership and mindfulness. She has published on Academy of Management Journal, Management and organization review, International Journal of Human Resource Management among others. She won the “Best Reviewer Award” of OB division at AOM meeting in 2013, and her work was recognized as “Best Publication Award” by AOM association in 2016.

讲座内容简介:

Emotion regulation ability has become a must in self-management nowadays. But how to develop our regulation ability? In this talk, we will:

- briefly introduce mindfulness practices;

- provide a clear picture on what “self” means;

- unpack the key mechanisms through which mindful practices stabilize our emotions

This talk also attempts to improve our understandings on attention qualities and multiple facets of emotions, and will draw insights from Dr. Li Xiaobei and Dr. Chen Liang (ECUST)’s recent research. To facilitate communication, the talk will be delivered in Chinese.
