Appointment Ceremony for Career Mentor Project (Phase IV) Successfully Held

On October 14, the Appointment Ceremony for Career Mentor Project (Phase IV) of ECUST School of Business was grandly held in Shanghai Grand Skylight Gardens Hotel. Prof. Yan Haifeng, deputy dean of ECUST School of Business, Prof. Gao Song, director of the MBA Programs Office, and 46 career mentors attended the ceremony. Prof. Gao Song presided over the ceremony.
In the beginning, Deputy Dean Yan Haifeng extended warm welcome to all the mentors and thanked them for joining in the Career Mentor Project.

In the end, Ms. Bao Lamei, vice-president of human resources from Schaeffler Group (Greater China) made a speech on behalf of the Phase IV career mentors. She gave enormous affirmation to the influence and competitiveness of the MBA brand of ECUST, and said that the mentors would make good use of the opportunity to share successful experience with students.
In the following reception, the mentors for the Phase III Career Mentor Project shared experience with the new mentors and provided them with much sound advice.
At 1:30pm, a meeting between the career mentors and students was held in ECUST, during which the two sides had in-depth discussion.
The “Career Mentor Project” is a career development guidance project that aims to provide service for MBA/MIB/MPAcc students of ECUST School of Business. The project hires headhunters with abundant professional knowledge and rich practical experience, HR professionals and successful entrepreneurs and executives to take the post of career mentors, who will provide guidance and help for students in their career development. Since 2009, the project has been successfully held for three times, with nearly 90 career mentors and 500 students involved. The students all benefited a lot from the project. In Phase IV, 46 career mentors were appointed, and approximately 400 students applied, among whom 215 succeeded in joining in the project.
